Children and Young People
At Life Community Church, we greatly value children and young people, counting it a privilege to play a part in helping to prepare them for life. We are passionate about helping them develop a relationship with God at a young age, and want them to love Church as a place where they have friends and can learn about God in a fun environment. We have 2 fun-packed and age appropriate groups taking place on a Sunday morning or Friday evening, led by great teams of dedicated workers, who have all been DBS checked:
Sunday Stars (School Years: Reception-Year 5)
Sunday Stars takes place most Sundays mornings, 11am-12noon throughout the year, except when special Family Services are occasionally held.
The children will join the adults for the first part of the service, during the sung worship. At about 11:00am, the children will then be led by the team to our "Church Manse" (the house in the car park which is our dedicated church offices and children's hub). They will remain there until their programme finishes. Through songs, games and creative activities and discussions, your children will be given a great opportunity to learn about God. At the end of their session they will have some refreshments in their groups. We ask parents to please sign-out and collect their children BY 12:00pm. (The service normally finishes at 11:45am, giving you a few minutes to have a drink before collecting them).
If you are new here, then please accompany your child for the first time to register them, when they leave during the service at about 11:00am. Afterwards, please feel free to rejoin us for the rest of the service.

Elevate Youth (School Years: 6+)
Elevate Youth takes place on Friday nights, 7:00-8:30pm, in various parent homes around the local area, led by a DBS checked team. It's a chance for young people in a small group setting, to have fun, build friendships, eat food, whilst learning and growing in their Christian faith. There are also lots of socials throughout the year, providing a great opportunity for the young people to bond and to invite their friends. Energize - Kids' Club
Come along for snacks, games, songs, arts and crafts and learn about God.
We are excited to promote our weekly Energize Kids' Club. Come along after school for snacks, games, songs, arts and crafts and learn about the Christian faith.
This event will take place weekly on a Tuesday, from 4:00 - 5:15pm (during term time).
For children in primary school year groups 1-6 only.

Toddlers and babies
LCC is very much a family church, and so we welcome people of all ages, including babies and toddlers. As a parent, we appreciate the difficulty of attending a church service when you have a child who becomes restless. Firstly at LCC, we really don't mind a bit of noise. However, if your child does become restless during the service, then our Welcome Lounge, inside the Main Hall, is available for you as a Parent and Baby room. In here, you will find a comfortable seating area, a collection of appropriate toys, and the service will also be relayed so you can still listen to the service.
