Christmas

This year, we invite you to join us in bringing the good news and great joy to children in need around the world through this Shoebox Appeal. Each shoe box received contains toys, school supplies, hygiene items and other accessories as well as the message of the good news of Jesus Christ! We are partnering with Samaritan’s Purse through their Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal, who will deliver these shoeboxes to over 100 countries around the globe. Each child receives a shoebox as an unconditional gift of love, based on need, regardless of their background.

There are TWO ways for you to get involved:

1. PRAY: for each box and each child (and their family) to come to Christ.
2. SERVE: Would you be available to join with a team from LCC to serve at the Samaritan's Purse National Ministry Centre in Coventry on Thursday 27th November, 7:00-9:30pm (arrive for 6:30pm, and you can leave earlier if you need to). How to give: This year, as previously communicated, we will be giving mostly from our Mission and Vision funds. If you would still like to give financially, then you are most welcome. It costs £30 for each shoebox, including the discipleship resources.

Please give directly to LCC. You can donate via bank transfer with the reference "Shoeboxes" (see our giving page) or bring in an envelope to us marked "Shoeboxes" containing your cash donation and place it in the offering bucket on Sunday.  Alternatively you can make a card payment by clicking HERE (choose 'Christmas Shoeboxes' campaign on our donation page).
